Based in New York, Lorise is a full-time professional calligrapher, artist and illustrator with over 500 published designs.

A member of both the Washington Calligraphers Guild and the Society of Scribes, her attention to detail and love of art and lettering,

combine to bring designs of elegance and glamour on a line of specialty couture items.

Her experience of flourished lettering, life size portraiture, and past experience of designing for an assortment
of products, help her to bring an exciting combination of artistic flavorings to each project.

Lorise's designs are all calligraphed, illustrated or painted by hand, an art form becoming even more appreciated,

in an often rushed pace and generic digital world. Her art can be found on a diverse array of products and luxury stationery,

to enhance special and milestone events of all kinds.

Lorise's work has been exhibited at international shows, reviewed in national trade magazines,

& has graced the covers of both books & catalogs.

Her portraits hang in private, public and governmental buildings.

In addition, her historic circa 1797 home and studio have been featured

in various decorating and lifestyle trending magazines.
She has also written several published how-to-paint articles for art magazines.
