Included in Your Stay


Wood

Cosy toes are a guaranteed bonus for the duration of your stay – all the wood for your stove is included in the price! On arrival, your lodge will be supplied with a stock of wood to burn: if these supplies run low, we have a wood pile nearby undercover, here you can collect fresh supplies, a log splitter is available in this area should you need to chop wood or make some kindling.
 

Outdoor cooking is also an option: ask Chris or Joe for the Mill Farm camp fire basket, There’s a small hire charge for the basket, but this includes your wood.
 

Cool Box

Each of our Luxury Canvas Lodges are equipped with a Cool Box, this is a very simple device for keeping food & drink chilled an fresh. All you do is simply place an ice pack inside the cool box and ensure it stays closed for best results. Ice packs are freely available in the honesty shop. We do also have refrigeration facilities in the honesty shop should you require.
 

Bed Linen

Crisp, clean, white cotton sheets, snuggly duvets and plump pillows are provided in every bedroom, creating a soft welcome retreat at the end of your relaxing day on the farm . So there’s no need to bring your own linen to enjoy sweet dreams in supreme comfort under canvas.
 

Organic Eggs

Our chicken coup is located in the Bottom Water Meadow, just a short stroll from your canvas lodge. Guests are welcome to interact with the chickens and to help themselves to eggs for breakfast. Please be polite as some of the chickens are shy! Eggs are in plentiful supply as we have them stocked in the honesty shop as well.
 

Farm Paddock

Bottom Water Meadow is home to our chickens, ducks and rabbits. You’re welcome to enjoy the animals throughout the day and join in with feeding times. He’ll also let you know when the farm tour is taking place – a real, not-to-be-missed treat!
 

Wi-Fi

For guests who like to stay connected on holiday Mill Farm provides a free password protected wi-fi connection for guest use. There is a connection across the glamping field and at Mill Farm House. Checking emails, facebook updates and holiday research from a laptop is easily done from the comfort of your canvas lodge. This is particularly popular feature with our teenage guests and corporate groups.
